Adult Health (Medical Surgical) Nursing

Adult Health (Medical-Surgical) Nursing is a specialty focused on caring for adult patients with a variety of medical conditions and those undergoing surgery. The department provide assistance in fostering an entry level nursing student who is prepared to transition to practice as a member of the inter professional health care team. The department deals with courses related to adult health nursing including geriatrics within the framework of KUHS and INC. The department strives to impart knowledge and practical skills to students who develop with distinct identity and character, meeting the goals and aspirations of the society.

Maternity/Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing

We aspire to provide theoretical and practical education to students and health care providers so as to maintain the quality and continuity of service through clinical care and emphasize professional development through research. The faculty and students in the department of OBG contribute to a wide spectrum of educational and research programmes on antenatal, intranatal, postnatal and gynaecological subjects. We are committed to providing exceptional care to women and family through community health programmes and school educational programmes. The division of OBG continuously maintain the momentum since its inception.
